Current Job Title: Supervisor Novitas MAC

Tell us what brought you to Pearl and what skills did you picked up in each of your previous roles that helped get you to your current role? I joined the Pearl Interactive Network, Inc.  family at the beginning of the pandemic, in May of 2020. I was hired as a supervisor to help launch the IRS project and supported that team for the entire 3-month contract. My management team recognized something in me and brought me back in that supervisor role for additional projects. I am Happy to say I have been with Pearl now for over 1 year.

I was in a customer service role for many years which I believe paved the way for me to be where I am now as a supervisor. One role that I previously held was as a lead for a DME (Durable Medical Equipment, like wheelchairs, glucose monitors hospital beds, and nebulizers, etc.) company which did patient-pay billing insurance which has been very helpful for my current role on the Novitas project.Read More »Employee Spotlight: Desiree Stull

Tell us what brought you to Pearl and what skills did you picked up in each of your previous roles that helped get you to your current role? When I found Pearl Interactive Network, Inc. I was looking for a job that was remote and in the medical/customer service field. I was previously enrolled in college where they failed to meet the state’s requirements to become certified as a Surgical Technologist. We were forced to withdrawal, and it was devastating. I fell in love with everything about Pearl and the project. My husband is a Veteran so finding this job had meaning for me. I came to Pearl from Maximus with 18 years of experience in the Ticket-to-Work Program, which is ran by the Social Security Administration (SSA). The program assisted individuals with disabilities to go back to work, achieve their goals, and progress forward in their lives to be financially independent. My previous role as a Quality Assurance Analyst for SSA afforded me an opportunity to continue employment under a new great program with Pearl Interactive Network, Inc. I have been with Pearl since November 2021, but I have learned a lot from my peers and have had the opportunity to develop, gain skills and knowledge. As of August 17th, I will have been with Pearl Interactive Network Inc. for 5 months. Before starting with Pearl, I was pregnant and looking for a job that would work with me and having a baby coming soon.
