Pearl has so many wonderful, caring, and generous people, that bring value not just to the company, but to their community. Teamwork & Family Atmosphere is a core value that helps make Pearl synonymous with hope and to give everyone an opportunity to give back, we have extended the Volunteer Drive from the original 2 months to the end of the year.
We have had 7 Pearl employees that have shared their volunteering hours and experience, take a moment to see how they are giving back!
Dr. Sandra Bruno – Sandra supports the MFLC project for Pearl and has volunteered over 6 hours at her local Downtown Rescue Mission! Organizing and hanging clothes, putting shoes on racks, straightening up dressing rooms, managing tagged assets, and greeting customers!
Debra Collins-Cox – Debbie supports the CCO project in KY and has volunteered 10 hours so far at the Beacon of Hope Emergency Shelter (Homeless Shelter)! Working the front desk, aiding residents, and checking in residents when they return to the property.
Crystal Covington – Crystal supports the VA CCN project and has volunteered over 40 hours to Ferreira Funeral Services where she has assisted visitation with individuals and transport of goods and materials to and from the locations.
Cari Barker – Cari is Pearl’s Contract Manager and has volunteered at CASA of Franklin County. CASA = Court Appointed Special Advocates, and their vision is to ensure that every abused and neglected child has a voice in court to make a positive impact on the child and community. CASA of Franklin County advocates for abused and neglected children by providing them with a voice in the juvenile court system. CASA recruits, screens, trains, and supports community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children.
Jim Caldwell – Jim is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Pearl. For years Jim has participated in various volunteer activities, from Rotary to Veteran related activities to missionary work at the local prisons.
Chris Jones – Chris is the Employee Engagement Specialist for Pearl and has volunteered over 6 hours so far with Meals on Wheels of Greater Pueblo! Chris has helped deliver over 30 meals and counting to homebound elderly and disabled people.
Jennifer Stein – Jenn is the Sr. Learning and Development Manager for Pearl and has volunteered over 11 hours so far with the Juniper Library, a Phoenix Public Library in AZ! Assisting the library patrons as needed as well as with shelving and other organizational services!
Remember if you participate in any volunteering, you can submit your hours and receive incentives and SWAG, by hitting the guidelines below:
Volunteer 1-4 hours (total) – Receive a $20 gift card
Volunteer 5-10 hours (total) – Receive a $20 gift card plus Pearl swag
Volunteer 10 or more hours (total) Receive a $20 gift card, Pearl swag, and you will be entered into a raffle at $100 gift card!
