Tell us what brought you to Pearl and what skills you acquired in each of your previous roles that helped get you to your current role?
Prior to joining the team, on site in KY, I was a waitress and working food service really helped me learn how to deal with escalated customers. In addition to waitressing, I was also a nurse, and this helped me appreciate any job that doesn’t include body fluids lol. When I came across the position with Pearl, I knew it would be a good fit because I like to talk and help people and I live right down the road.
What are your career goals?
I strive to be the best in any role and would love to become the best CSR ever!
What has been the biggest lesson you have learned in your job?
It may seem small, and you may laugh, but don’t forget to turn off CAPS lock.
What is your advice for someone who may be interested in pursuing a role in your current field?
At times there will be difficult calls that you have to handle. If someone gets irate or yells, remember to use a soothing voice and reassure them that you are there to help them.
What is a Fun Fact that many of your coworkers may not know?
My son (pictured w/me) is the boss of me at home, and my dog is his partner in crime.
Do you have a special talent or any hobbies?
I have a garden and I am obsessed with canning and preserving.
