Hi, Pearl Team!
I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July with friends and family. We celebrate the holiday for obvious reasons, but it’s also a chance for us to remember and reflect on the meaning of America and what it is all about – where we have been, and where we are going. America stands for the commitment to principles of freedom, equality, and liberty. While you celebrated with your family and friends, I hope you were able to take a moment to remember the blessings our freedom provides and that you continue to reflect on your appreciation for those who have served and continue to serve so we have the freedoms we enjoy.
I would like to ask you to take a moment now and reflect on the incredible work you do here at Pearl. You are a bigger part of our Nations maturity than you may realize. Each of you has a specific role and skills that helps to support our mission of service. I recall a quote from Martin Luther King Jr., “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?” Here at Pearl, many of us ask that question of ourselves often and we live it daily.
