Nominee: Chandrah Jarrott – Operations Manager – FEMA and ESDMS

Recognized By: Cari V. Barker – Contract Manager

Values Exhibited: Customer Satisfaction, Teamwork and Family Atmosphere, Quality, Innovation

I am nominating Chandrah due to the prompt and thorough process of reconciling a customer’s account in another timekeeping system against Pearl’s timekeeping system. Chandrah was able to create an excel table to track all entered time and reconcile/correct the time entered within 3 business days. This resulted in resolving long and complicated issues for billing and timekeeping. Chandrah’s changing of priorities to complete this task is greatly appreciated and resulted in a significant payment that was due to Pearl instead of lost revenue. Chandrah was also very professional and positive throughout this process. Chandrah’s support of the Pearl team and the customer was significantly felt and seen. Chandrah has truly made a positive difference!!

Nominee: Will Retallack – Supervisor ESDMS

Recognized By: Cari V. Barker – Contract Manager

Values Exhibited: Customer Satisfaction, Teamwork and Family Atmosphere

Will has shown great customer (internal and external) satisfaction and teamwork by working closely with the ESDMS customer to resolve timekeeping and billing issues. Will worked with Chandrah to find a resolution and was successful. Will has put forth “top notch” customer service while working with ESDMS customer and issues that were directed at Pearl, but he changed that direction and assisted in improving the customer relationship. Will has shown patience and compassion while dealing with this customer and has managed to get assistance from this customer after being refused assistance.

Nominee: Shaunee Tyson – Supervisor VA CCN

Recognized By: Samantha Gonzalez via Merry Korn

Values Exhibited: Customer Satisfaction, Teamwork and Family Atmosphere

While making calls for recent work anniversaries, CEO Merry Korn connected with Samantha. In the conversation Samantha said to Merry “Shaunee is a wonderful and kind, caring Supervisor.”  After speaking with Samantha, Merry notified VP of Operations Brenda Wingert and Employee Engagement, and we can’t say thank you enough! Keep up the good work Shaunee!

Nominee: LaTonya Simmons – Director of Talent Acquisition

Recognized By: Kelli Cannon – Controller

Values Exhibited: Quality, Teamwork and Family Atmosphere

As a government contractor, we are subject to annual audits of our costs. The government is a bit behind and most recently we were audited for 2019 costs. During the audit, we were asked for backup details and documentation for support of certain costs that were incurred clear back to 2019. I reached out to LaTonya to request the backup details for these costs. It seemed like an impossible ask given the amount of time that had passed. Tonya quickly sent me every last bit of detail that the auditors needed. I feel that this demonstrates her superior work quality and the speed with which she responded to such a request speaks to her contribution to a team. Thank you, LaTonya for being such a valued member of the Pearl Team!

Nominee: Cassondra Conrad – Admin CCO KY

Recognized By: LaTonya Simmons

Values Exhibited: Quality, Teamwork and Family Atmosphere

As a government contractor, we are subject to annual audits of our costs. The government is a bit behind and most recently we were audited for 2019 costs. During the audit, we were asked for explanations for several instances where timecards weren’t submitted by the employee. With so much time having passed, I was worried that we would be able to provide any explanation at all, but I reached out to Cassondra, who is the site administrator for Kentucky, and she was able to provide explanations and, in some cases, even provided supporting emails or data. I feel that this demonstrates her superior work quality and the speed with which she responded to such a request speaks to her contribution to the team. Thank you, Cassondra for being such a valued member of the Pearl Team and for supporting me during the audit!
