Employee Spotlight: Michael Adepitan

Current job title: Customer Service Representative – CCO

Tell us what brought you to Pearl and what skills did you picked up in each of your previous roles that helped get you to your current role? As fate would have it on my arrival in the US, I have also fallen in love with my present career even though it was impromptu. Assisting people with their problems and helping manage success has been my goal in life and my career at Pearl is no way different from my life goal.

It has been my joy helping people resolve problems with their health and giving advice, as necessary. I was excited when I was offered the position at Pearl Interactive Network, Inc. in August 2021. I see it as a place where I can still use my law skills such as active listening, probing questions, logical reasoning, and ability to provide solutions to people’s health related issues.

What are your career goals? My professional Career Path is to continue practicing Law. Prior to coming to the United States, I was a member of the Nigerian Bar as an Attorney and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. By the special grace of God, the Almighty, I am looking forward to being admitted to the American Bar in the nearest future.

What has been the biggest lesson you have learned or the biggest obstacle you have overcome in your job? The biggest lesson I have learned is to respect humanity, especially the rule of law. I have come to understand that this is something that is truly valued in the United States compared to the corruption I saw in Africa.

Do you have a special talent or any hobbies? Hmmm, I enjoy sightseeing, partaking in a game of basketball, driving, and catching fun with good company (WOLFPACK Team).
