Tell us what brought you to Pearl and what skills you acquired in each of your previous roles that helped get you to your current role?
Prior to joining Pearl, I worked with Maximus. I transitioned to Pearl in October of 2022 as an on-site ISG (Internal Support Group) agent with 3+ years of experience supporting the marketplace line of business. I completed a 6-month tour with Medicare but decided to become an expert in Marketplace.
What are your career goals?
At this time, my goal is to continue to excel in this role, I am happy being an ISG agent and enjoy supporting the team.
What has been the biggest lesson you have learned in your job?
The biggest lesson I have learned is that every customer is different. They have different personalities and emotions which makes every phone call unique. Empathy is a very important skill because the consumer is seeking your understanding and assistance and for you to be on their side when they are dealing with health insurance problems.
What is your advice for someone who may be interested in pursuing a role in your current field?
Reach out to your supervisor and other support staff to see what resources the company has on-site and with other sites. The more you know!

I just play video games and read in my off time.
