2023 Recruiting Season @ Pearl-Winchester

Pearl-Winchester is ½ way through our volume recruiting season. With over 468 Job Offers Issued, and 146 New Hires onboarded in August, we are looking forward to welcoming the September class to Team Pearl, where we are Providing Services That Matter. Class # 3 is scheduled to start on Sept. 25th, with only a hand full of seats left to fill.
We have 2 more classes to wrap the 2023 season in time for open enrollment. We encourage YOU to keep referring your friends and family, and spreading the word, to support our recruiting efforts. The next classes you can contribute to filling will train on October 23 and November 13. So… help your referrals find their new career in the call center industry before the holidays and earn some extra cash for yourself in the meantime. Talent Acquisition and Workforce Development recognize barriers that our nation has overcome. To achieve, sustain, and enhance DEI & Belonging we want to acknowledge, National Hispanic Month and National Native American Day.
National Hispanic Month is observed from September 15th to October 15th. This month is dedicated to celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens with Hispanic ancestry. It includes recognizing the independence days of several Latin American countries, such as Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile, which fall within this period.
This month serves as a reminder of the diverse traditions, stories, and contributions that have shaped the American identity, including the enriching impact of Hispanic writers, scientists, soldiers, doctors, entrepreneurs, academics, and leaders in labor and government. Hispanic heritage has influenced American culture through its rhythms, art, literature, creativity, and the values of family and faith that are core to many Hispanic communities.
This year, the Department of Labor affirms that all workers in the U.S. have rights, regardless of their immigration status. On August 28, in partnership with the Embassy of Mexico, agencies led by the Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) held an event in Washington, D.C. to mark Labor Rights Week and roll out new resources. This year the Department is especially pleased to offer a new tool, the MigrantWorker.gov or TrabajadorMigrante.gov websites, which are a one-stop shop of resources for migrant employees who are working in the U.S.” ~ US Department of Labor – Women’s Bureau Director Wendy Chun-Hoon remarks.
National Native American Day is an observance that focuses on the history, heritage, and culture of tribes across the country. It is a day for celebrating the irreplaceable heritage, contributions, and knowledge of Native American populations. The day also serves as a reminder of their enduring legacy of fortitude, energy, and strength. Native American Day is about appreciating the long history of culture and traditions that Native Americans have preserved through the centuries. Though, it is not observed in all 50 states, it is observed in South Dakota, celebrated on different dates in California, Nevada, Tennessee, and Washington, and is gaining popularity in the rest of the country.
While each distinct nation has its own set of customs, rituals, and beliefs; the celebration focuses on the culture, traditions, and history of tribes across the country.
The Indian and Native American Employment Rights Program (INAERP) advances awareness of employment rights and job opportunities for American Indians and Alaska Natives who work for or seek employment with companies doing business with the federal government. INAERP accomplishes this mission through compliance assistance and outreach to federal contractors and coordination with tribal representatives, community-based organizations, apprenticeship programs, workforce development agencies, and other federal stakeholders.
