Pearl’s Military and Family Life Counselors Enjoy a Time to Connect
Written by: Adrienne Hayes
Operations would like to highlight the Military and Family Life Counseling Contact or MFLC project as the June Operations Project Spotlight! This is a unique project in that the employees are not just Call Center Representatives, but professional Counselors. The Counselors handle inbound calls and provide confidential non-medical counseling services to military service members and their families, through the Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC) program.
Brittine Hunt, TA Program Manager, hosted the 2nd Quarterly Team Meeting with Pearl’s dedicated Military and Family Life Counselors. Highly favorable, these connects not only support the morale of our Counselors, reiterating our support of them and the great work they do on our behalf, but they also afford us an opportunity to peak into the challenges and successes our Counselors experience. The Counselors were able to connect, discuss new developments within each program on the installation, shared resources and perspectives. This engagement is a “value-add” to our program which lends to our ability in sharing recommendations to our client on how better to support our service men, women, and their families. And we must admit…the Counselors appreciate the inclusion!
