Hello, Pearl Team!
November is a big month of appreciation and celebration – and a kickoff to the holiday season!
It started with Thursday, November 10th being the Marine Corps Birthday. Happy (belated) Birthday, Marines! Then, Friday, November 11th was Veterans Day and soon enough – we will be enjoying a Thanksgiving meal with those closest to us. Before I get into the Holiday topic, I’d like to take a moment to thank our Pearl team members who are Veterans for their selfless service to our country. We are all so appreciative of you and your families sacrifices. I’ve always been passionate about the Pearl mission to support military families, and it will always remain a big part of our Pearl values.
While we are focused on celebration and preparing for the holiday season, it’s important to take pause and remind ourselves of why we are thankful. A fun tradition to start at Thanksgiving is going around the table and having each person state what they are thankful for. This year, I’ll be thinking about how thankful I am for this amazing team. The way you have all pulled together, supported one another, and continue to change, shape, and grow Pearl has been astounding. To be able to say Pearl is truly like a big family is such a blessing.
I hope you all enjoy the special festivities with those dearest to you. Soak in those moments, enjoy creating new memories and new traditions, and identify even more for which to be grateful!
