The Month of May has brought us so much fun and engagement!
We had :
• Spirit Days
• Onsite Blood Drive
• A Virtual Walking Challenge
• Several Slime Time Ticket Activities
And most exciting, we got our name on the building at our center in Winchester, KY!
Back in 2013, Merry said that some day we would have our name on this building, and now we do!
We hosted a poll and we heard you say you wanted Harry Potter Day! And that’s what we did! The CCO also participated in a Movie Character Day, May the 4th be with you, and Derby Day! Also on May 4th, we hosted our first onsite Blood Drive in KY and we collected 34 UNITS of Blood and Registered 33 FIRST TIME Donors! May 8th – 19th everyone broke out their tennis shoes and took off walking! Great job to everyone who participated in our first ever Virtual Walking Challenge! It was a big success! You can expect to see another Walking Challenge in the future. We round out our laps with a total of 690 Miles, the length of the World’s Largest Yardsale, Yard Sale 127 that travels through SIX STATES! Our Top Ten Walkers all were rewarded with Pearl Swag and our Overall winner, Sherri French, also got a $50 Gift Card!
Through the Month of May, we have also been hosting some fun activities for our KY CCO peeps for their chance to win a Slime Time Ticket for Employee Appreciation Day this year! A Slime Time Ticket allows an agent to select a participating member of leadership to Slime on June 7th this year!

Slime Time is shaping up to be a blast this year with 90 Slime Time Tickets being given away!
May 29th we remembered all those who lost their lives in service to our country. We remember and recognize these few stories from submissions from some of our staff.

Staff Sgt. Walker was KIA in an ambush by hostile fire on April 6, 2004, in Anbar Province, Iraq. He was 28yrs old and was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force out of Camp Pendleton, CA. His nickname was “the Beast” because he was hardcore and good at being a Drill Instructor, yet he treated everyone equally and was incredibly fun loving. He is missed.

US Army SPC Alan N. Dikcis
Died March 5, 2010, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom in Kandahar, Helmand Province, Afghanistan of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his vehicle with an improvised explosive device.
He was 21 years old and lived in Niagara Falls, NY. He was assigned to the 630th Engineer Company, 7th Engineer Battalion, 20th Engineer Brigade, Ft. Drum, NY.
Alan was raised in Wheatfield, NY and a 2006 graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School. He was serving in the United States Army in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a wheeled vehicle mechanic, with the 630th Engineer Company, 7th Engineer Battalion stationed in Afghanistan. Alan was a devoted son, father, brother, and friend. He lived his life to the fullest. He loved spending time with his friends, riding his motorcycle, going to the beach, and working on cars.
Alan’s military decorations include the Purple Heart, Bronze Star Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and NATO Medal
And finally we wanted to see what kind of prizes you prefer and there was an overwhelming amount for GIFT CARDS! Not to say that Pearl Swag and Sugarwish orders aren’t amazing as well, but you can expect to see more Gift Cards up for grabs in the coming activities!
