Pearl’s journey with Sidecar Health began January 1st and it’s been an exciting start. Here are a few highlights and reminders:
- 🚀 Rewards galore: 92% of the time, Pearl members have either received “earned benefit credits” for finding care below the Benefit Amount or had only a small out of pocket bill, equivalent to a copay under a traditional insurance plan. What’s even more incredible? The average earned benefit credit is a sweet $45. That’s savings you can use towards other healthcare expenses, just for making savvy healthcare decisions.
- 💰 Pocket-friendly: And for those rare moments when you receive care above the Benefit Amount, fear not. The average amount paid by fellow Pearl members for claims exceeding the Benefit Amount is $10, no more than a typical co-pay.
- 💡 Pro-tip: With the Provider Location Assistance program at Sidecar Health, you will always have a choice at or below the Benefit Amount. Can’t find one? Member Care will step in and locate one for you.
- 📧 RSVP for a live demo: The member portal is your one-stop-shop for managing all your health-related needs efficiently. Sidecar Health hosts regular demos, complete with expert answers to FAQs and insider tips for maximizing your plan. RSVP for an upcoming virtual session or catch the recording at your convenience.
- 🛡️ Important reminder: For those with additional health insurance coverage, such as Medicare or Medicaid, reach out to HR to fill out a “Coordination of Benefits” form.
- 📞 Round-the-clock assistance: Need a guiding hand or have questions? The Sidecar Health Member Care team is ready, seven days a week, to provide live assistance. Give them a call at (855) 282-0822 during the following hours:
